A new twist on and old classic, Kelley Suttenfield & Tosh Sheridan present a modern version of this iconic holiday song of unrequited love: “Blue Christmas.” Though longtime musical collaborators, this is their first recording together as a duo. Kelley Suttenfield is an acoustic jazz vocalist whose lush resonance and graceful approach have captivated fans and critics across the globe. In the words of music reviewer Carol Banks Weber (AXS.com), she “breathes her own loving, sensitive, and reverent persona into every lyric.” Kelley performs regularly in New York City at notable venues like The Iridium, Jazz at Kitano, Zinc Bar, and the Metropolitan Room, and she has also performed in London on the main stage at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club with the NYC All-Stars Band, and also at The Pheasantry at Pizza Express. Tosh Sheridan is a guitarist, composer, and arranger working and living in New York since 1998. Having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Jazz Composition (Berklee College of Music, Boston), and a Master of Arts degree in Jazz Performance (City College of New York), he has shared the stage with many great artists including: Gene Bertoncini, John Stowell, Paul Meyers, Robin McKelle, and Norah Jones. “Tosh captures the complete orchestral qualities of the nylon-string guitar with his wonderfully creative and fresh arrangements. His jazz playing – both harmonically and linearly – swings, comes from the heart, and leaves the listener totally satisfied,” proclaims jazz guitar master Gene Bertoncini.
